Refund Policy

It is our policy to ensure customer satisfaction.

Despite best efforts, sometimes you need to avail to the return and refund policy for vinyl records. Please read on for the terms of the refund-return policy for vinyl records. This also covers other music formats sold on this online store.

Our philosophy of doing business is covered here. We work with trusted and respected partners for delivery.

This will ensure your vinyl records arrive in great shape, free of damage. For more information, please read our FAQ and grading of vinyl records.

Terms and Conditions

In cases of exchanges for defects, we will send the replacement(s) once we have received the original returned item. There will not be a shipping charge for this exchange. But all items must be in original condition, show no signs of use, and must be returned in original packaging.

For international returns

Any customs or import duties, brokerage fees, taxes and all other charges paid on return shipments are your responsibility. 

All costs, duties, fees, or taxes are your responsibility and will not be refunded to you.

Local deliveries

If the recipient refuses delivery of an item purchased, all charges shall be your responsibility. We will fully refund you or send the item to you again without extra charge when the item is still available, whichever you prefer in the event that purchases are not delivered to you due to a mistake on our part.

Please note that you are responsible for entering your correct address. If you enter an incorrect address and do not notify us before the order is shipped, we cannot refund your purchase. If we send you items that you did not order, we will refund you for cost of the outgoing postage and packing on those individual items, once you send them back to us.

Requests for refunds or exchanges must be made within 7 days of the purchase date. Hard Graft Records will not refund after such date for any reason whatsoever.

In cases of buyer’s remorse, request for refunds must be made within 2 days of purchase. All items must be in original condition (if new, must be unopened) and show no signs of use, and must be returned in original vendor packaging.

Upon receiving the item(s) an inspection will be carried out to determine the condition. If accepted, the refund will be made subject to a restocking fee of RM50. If the item isn’t accepted for a refund, then you may exchange it for another of the same or higher value subject to the restocking fee of RM50.

Digital Downloads

Digital downloads are sometimes included with a vinyl LP. These are not returnable or refundable. 

No exchanges

There are no exchanges based on the production values of the download even if the download code is not included and/or has expired.

We do not create the content sold which is done by record companies, artist, producers, etc.

We cannot accept cancellations or provide any refunds once downloading has commenced. Buyers are encouraged to sample the audio before committing to a purchase.But
